When I’m not riding a motorcycle across the country, ridding the world of space-pheasants, I am an art student living in Brooklyn, New York; the only child of parents whose roots lie in Hong Kong and China. I have a very large extended family and own three pet rats. On most days, you can find me scribbling in Photoshop with my headphones on and eyes glazed. Digital art is what I love to do, and it fills the bulk of my non-academic life. Eventually, I’ll make a comic. When I’m not doing that, I can be found sprawled out on the floor at Barnes & Noble with a stack of manga, seeing buddies or wandering around looking for things to photograph, which I haven’t done in a very long time. Books, music and movies turn me on. I’m not much of a TV watcher, though if I happen to catch some old-school 80’s sitcoms, I’ll watch them gleefully. I also love me some anime and manga; as someone who likes drawing in that style, they inspire me. Video games are also spiffy, even though I pretty much suck at playing them. Kingdom Hearts and the Silent Hill series are among my favorites. Online, I maintain a couple of websites and a gallery on deviantART. That’s pretty much all I have patience for. I like visiting other folks’ personal sites, keeping up with the handful of webcomics I read, and catching up with folks on AIM when I can. |
